Essential Kodi Addon: Stream the BBC Essential Mix

The Essential Kodi addon from the OneNation Repo is a great new source for streaming BBC Essential Mix in Kodi. Every single show from 1993 until today is in the addon.

The BBC Essential Mix is a radio show featuring contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music. It features an uninterrupted two-hour mix from a different artist each week. It is one of the longest running programmes in the current BBC Radio 1 schedule and one of the few shows not broadcast live.

The host of the BBC Essential Mix is DJ Pete Tong, who has been there since the show’s inception. It airs late Friday night / early Saturday morning.

The Essential Kodi addon is laid out by year from 1993-2008. When you click on a year, you’ll be able to stream every single mix from each week throughout that year. Like OneNation’s other addon, Deceit, the addon is easy and works great!

How to Install the Essential Kodi Addon (BBC Essential Mix)

File Manager Method

1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to SYSTEM > File Manager > Add Source > None
2. Type the following EXACTLY http://onenation.info/Repo and select Done
3. Highlight the box underneath and enter a name for this media Source like .onenation and then click OK
4. Go back to your home screen.
   • ON Kodi 17 Krypton or later: Select Add-ons > Add-on Browser 
   • ON Kodi 16 or earlier: Select SYSTEM > Add-Ons
5. Select Install from Zip File > .onenation > repository.onenation-x.x.zip and wait for the Add-on enabled notification
6. Select Install from Repository > OneNation Repository > Video Add-ons > Essential > Install
7. Wait for Add-on enabled notification

 

The addon will be found in both your video addons and music addons.
