One of the most popular sources for free live IPTV over the past number of years has been a service called Mobdro. Mobdro, like cCloud, searches the internet for live stream links to display in its interface for users to watch. There have been a few options to install a Kodi Mobdro addon and below has the latest information!
Mobdro has a freemium and a premium version of its software. The freemium version shows ads within the app while the premium version gets rid of these ads and adds other features like chromecast support and downloading of live TV streams.
The Kodi Mobdro add-on brings all of the Mobdro channels to the Kodi interface! And because the Mobdro interface doesn’t exist within Kodi, there are no ads either.
The Kodi Mobdro add-on contains a ton of live IPTV channels sorted by categories like news, sports and entertainment. A good chunk of the streams are higher than 480p quality and some are full HD! Another nice feature of the Kodi Mobdro add-on is the inclusion of many 24/7 TV channels, similar to ones we’ve featured on the site before.

How to Install Kodi Mobdro Addon – GenTec Source
- From the Kodi main menu, navigate to SYSTEM > File Manager > Add Source > None
- Type the following EXACTLY http://gen-tec.co/gentecwiz/ and select Done
- Highlight the box underneath and enter a name for this media Source like .gentec and then click OK
- Go back to your home screen.
- ON Kodi 17 Krypton or later: Select Add-ons > Add-on Browser
- ON Kodi 16 or earlier: Select SYSTEM > Add-Ons
- Select Install from Zip File > .gentec > NEW REPO FOR GENTEC WIZARD > repository.Gentec-x.x.zip and wait for the Add-on enabled notification
- Select Install from Repository > Gentec repository > Video Add-ons > StarTec Mobdro > Install
- Wait for Add-on enabled notification
How to Install Kodi Mobdro Addon – AH Source

- Highlight the box underneath and enter a name for this media Source like .ah and then click OK
- Go back to your home screen.

Mobdro will not work inside kodi it only works as a stand alone app download it through your Internet browser this will solve the issue

Mobdro will not download into Kodi in the standard way. It will install but will give nothing but error notices. Here’s how you do it. Go to the Kodi home page then click browser and go to http://mobdroapp.com/mobdro-apk-download/ and download the 2017 version which is mobdro 2.0.30. Go back to Kodi home and click All apps then click File manager where you will see mobdro-2.0.30 click on it then click Install bottom right and let it install then click Open bottom right and access the offered programmes. Guaranteed to work
Just installed it on my box but I go to install from add on t keeps coming up installation failed is there a way around this anyone?
CG….download in two parts….first the Bluestacks….then the Mobdro apk file….remember where you put it…….Install the Bluestacks……once done it will show a circle on the left hand side task bar a circle with APK in it………click on it…..then go to the place where you downloaded you Mobdro apk file to…..double click on it……Bluestacks will install the file…..then you will in effect have an Android based app on your pc……Let it load ……you will see the Mobdro app logo in the top bar…..click on it….then you will get all your programmes….although I don’t recommend the Movies….they are limited…

If you are having issue with it running on Kodi you can also download the app right to your android box separate from Kodi. This is was I had to do as it kept freezing. The Mobdro link was from http://www.mobdro.ca cheers.

I don’t think this MODBRO works on Kodi cause whoever created it for Kodi didn’t put in alot of work to test it out. I’ve tried it soooooooo many times and keeps giving me errors so i stick to the android version.

I followed your guide step by step, but in the end it was version 1.05, not 1.04. The version 1.05 does not work for the latest Fire TV Jarvis 16.1, just like for other people. Is there a fix for the download? Thanks
Install Mobdro on my Amazon Firestick then it downloads but when i click on something o get an error message “Check the log for more infomation” It does not work am i missing something?
If your using an android box, just install the regular Mobdro app not as an add on to kodi. You can get Mobro from their website. From Kodi you can open Mobdro by going to Programs, Android Apps then open Mobro. To get away with adds, install adblock or Adaway.

when i first bought my android box last year september 2015 mobdro 1.04 worked perfect but since it was updated to 1.05 it does not work is there any way of getting the 1.04 version to download
