June 4th Update: Mucky Duck has updated 123Movies to v2.1.12 When the addon is updated, make sure you head into the addon settings and set back to default to reset the website address. Also note that Mucky Duck has added code to uninstall the anonymous repo, which has blatantly stolen MD’s code and addons. The anonymous repo is not welcome in the Kodi community.

Mucky Duck has a great movies add-on in his repo called 123Movies. The 123Movies Kodi add-on brings a great movie source in 123movies.to right to your Kodi setup!

The 123Movies Kodi add-on’s specialty is movies. When you first launch the add-on, you’ll have the choice of the following categories:

  • Most Favourite
  • Most Ratings
  • Most Viewed
  • Top IMDB
  • Country
  • Search
  • Latest
  • Genre
  • Year

Tip #1: In the 123Movies Kodi settings, you can enable a TV section.

Tip #2: If you can’t access 123Movies.to in your web browser, you might be geo-blocked from being able to access the website by your internet service provider. You may also use a VPN, such as IPVanish, to hide yourself and access the add-on.

  59. This is so bizarre. I have two boxes configured exactly the same. On one changing to https and .cloud worked. On the other it did not. Previously I had to have them on different URLs too. Why would that be?

    Tried everything on second box. .cloud, .moscow, .is, .gs .to etc. nothing works. Both are still on 2.0.1 with no update being offered. So one works with https://123movies.cloud and the other does not.

  64. Yep broken. What is the URL we should be using? Default is .to but that doesn’t work Neither does .is or .moscow.

    I could care less about the interface, thumbnails, etc. When it works its the best addon but it is definitely broken now. Based on Mucky’s Twitter he thinks it’s fine.

  77. I’ve tried various base url’s (.cloud, .is, .gs, etc.) and nothing works. I can see all the movies so everything loaded ok but when I pick one I get the “error, check log” message many are getting. I can go to 123movies on my laptop, phone, etc. without any issues.

    Hope there’s a fix for kodi.

Their is no warranty. No updates. Theyre rude. . If it works for you now, give it time.. Theyre assholes. Try to get your money back..If you cant get thru by phone, their office is on the same property. Stop by.. And there is no “no question ask , 1 year return” again another lie.Redbox is cheaper and bullshit free.
