How to Uninstall TVAddons Indigo Addon & Repository

Do you want to uninstall the TVAddons repository and Indigo addon from your system? Get rid of them forever with the guide below! TVAddons is a long-time Kodi community. They originally were the best source for third-party Kodi addons. Since legal problems started back in 2017, they have been implicated in a few shady tactics sprung upon Kodi users:
  1. The “Indigo” addon pushes a pop-up to Kodi users by default.
  2. Popular Kodi repositories (Blamo and 13 Clowns) who have stepped away from the Kodi community have been taken over by someone who pushes the TVAddons repository and Indigo addon onto unsuspecting Kodi users.
  3. TVAddons has added Indigo as a dependency for URLResolver, which itself is a dependency for many Kodi addons.
And now in April 2020, TVAddons pushed an update to their Indigo addon which aggressively removes the following repositories and addons from Kodi:
  • repository.fredsrepo
  • script.navi-x
  • repository.metalkettle
  • script.modules.python.requests
  • script.bubbles.resources
  • script.bubbles.artwork
  • script.bubbles.binaries
  • script.bubbles.icons
  • script.bubbles.skins
  • plugin.video.bubbles
  • repository.bubbles
  • repository.bubbles.1
  • repository.xvbmc
  • repository.supremacy
  • repository.13clowns
  • repository.maverickrepo
  • repository.eggman
  • repository.onenation
  • repository.kodiuktv
  • repository.goldengun
  • script.block.tvaddons
  • repository.thecrew
  • program.fuck.indigo
  • repository.atreides
  • repository.atreides.tools
  • script.thecrew.metadata
  • script.thecrew.artwork
  • script.module.thecrew
If you are annoyed with these Indigo popup messages or want to uninstall TVAddons forever, follow the steps below to uninstall everything. If you would like to uninstall Indigo automatically, follow these instructions:

How to Uninstall Indigo Automatically

You must have The Crew repo to uninstall Indigo automatically. If you don’t have it yet, follow the instructions below.
  1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to Addons > Addon Browser > My Addons > All
  2. Click on Indigo
  3. Click Update and select a repository with v4.0.12 in the list.
If you don’t have a v4.0.12 in the list, try to hit the Disable button. You may get a message about having to uninstall some other addons before coming back to disable Indigo. Next, we can stop Indigo from coming back: If you already have The Crew, skip to step 4, then 6.
  1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to SYSTEM > File Manager > Add Source > None
  2. Type the following EXACTLY https://team-crew.github.io and select Done
  3. Highlight the box underneath and enter a name for this media Source like .crew and then click OK
  4. Go back to your home screen.
    • ON Kodi 17 Krypton or later: Select Add-ons > Add-on Browser
    • ON Kodi 16 or earlier: Select SYSTEM > Add-Ons
  5. Select Install from Zip File > .crew > repository.thecrew-x.x.zip  and wait for the Add-on enabled notification
  6. Select Install from Repository > The Crew > Program Add-ons > Fuck Indigo > Install
  7. Wait for Add-on enabled notification
Restart Kodi and the Indidgo addon should now be removed for good!

Can’t Uninstall TVAddons Repo

  1. Now in interest of equal time and fairness, how about guides to uninstall the MALWARE INFECTED “Gaia” and the thieving scumbag bullshit called “Real Debrid”.

Not to mention all of these shitty “sports” apps which open up your hardware to Russian hackers and don’t even link to any REAL sports. Like football (and by that, I don’t mean soccer, for Christ’s sake!!)
