13 Clowns Repo Hacked & Replaced With TVAddons, Indigo

The 13 Clowns and Civitas Scrapers repositories has been hacked and replaced with TVAddons affiliated addons and repositories, just one day after the developer shut them down and walked away from the Kodi community. The TVAddons Indigo addon and other dependencies are now automatically installed if you have either the 13 Clowns or Civitas repo.. It’s a disgusting move and one that paints a huge black mark on an already controversial website in the community.

 

If you are seeing Indigo popup messages that you never saw a few days ago and suspect that it could be due to an upgrade to the 13 Clowns repo, follow the steps below to uninstall everything.

Step 1: Uninstall 13 Clowns Kodi Addon

TECHNICALLY, you can keep addons from the 13 Clowns repo and follow the rest of this guide and still be fine. However, these addons are not being maintained anymore and the scrapers inside of them are degrading more each day.

You would be better off to install Seren, Gaia, or Yoda instead.

1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to Add-ons > Video Add-ons.
2. Hover on top of 13 Clowns and press the menu (‘c’) button.
3. Select Information.
4. Click on Uninstall and accept the prompt asking you if you are sure.

 

 

Step 2: Uninstall the 13 Clowns & Civitas Common Modules

1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to Settings > System Settings > Add-on Settings
2. Click on Manage Dependencies

  Follow the steps below, FOUR separate times:

1. Hover on top of 13 Clowns Artwork and press the menu (‘c’) button. 
2. Select Information.
3. Click on Uninstall and accept the prompt asking you if you are sure.

Follow the three steps above but for the 13 Clowns Metadata, 13 Clowns Script.Module, and Civitas Scrapers Module and uninstall these three dependencies as well.

 

 

Step 3: Uninstall the Exodus Kodi Addon

1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to Add-ons > Video Add-ons.
2. Hover on top of Exodus and press the menu (‘c’) button.
3. Select Information.
4. Click on Uninstall and accept the prompt asking you if you are sure.

 

 

Step 4: Uninstall the Indigo Kodi Addon

1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to Add-ons > Program Add-ons.
2. Hover on top of Indigo and press the menu (‘c’) button.
3. Select Information.
4. Click on Uninstall and accept the prompt asking you if you are sure.

 

 

Step 5: Uninstall the 13 Clowns Kodi Repo

1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to Add-ons > My Add-ons (Package Icon).
2. Click on Install From Repository
3. Hover on top of the 13 Clowns Repo and press the menu (‘c’) button.
4. Select Information.
5. Click on Uninstall and accept the prompt asking you if you are sure.

 

 

Step 6: Uninstall the TVAddons Kodi Repo

1. From the Kodi main menu, navigate to Add-ons > My Add-ons (Package Icon).
2. Click on Install From Repository
3. Hover on top of the TVAddons Repository and press the menu (‘c’) button.
4. Select Information.
5. Click on Uninstall and accept the prompt asking you if you are sure.

 

 

After that, you should no longer see 13 Clowns repo hacked content from TVAddons such as Indigo.
