YIFY Movies is a long-running media website that contains torrent/magnet links for media.
The YIFY Movies Kodi addon scrapes that website and presents all torrent links in the addon. When you click on a title, it sends the link to ResoleveURL, where Premiumize or Real Debrid handles the playback and places the media on your screen.
NOTE: A Real Debrid or Premiumize account is required in order to use this addon. If you don’t have Premiumize or Real Debrid then the media will not play. If you have an account but still cannot get any link to work, then make sure you have authorized your account inside of ResolveURL.

How to Install YIFY Movies Kodi Add-on
Standard Method
ON Kodi 17 Krypton & 18 Leia Only: From the main menu, navigate to Settings > System Settings > Add-ons > Turn On Unknown Sources > Click Yes.
- From the Kodi main menu, navigate to SYSTEM > File Manager > Add Source > None
- Type the following EXACTLY http://streamarmy.co.uk/repo and select Done
- Highlight the box underneath and enter a name for this media Source like .sa. and then click OK
- Go back to your home screen.
- ON Kodi 17 Krypton or later: Select Add-ons > Add-on Browser
- ON Kodi 16 or earlier: Select SYSTEM > Add-Ons
- Select Install from Zip File > .sa > repository.streamarmy-x.x.x.zip and wait for the Add-on enabled notification
- Select Install from Repository > Stream Army Repo > Video Add-ons > YIFY Movies > Install
- Wait for Add-on enabled notification
YIFY Movies Kodi Help – Blank or Empty Directories
The YIFY Movies website is blocked to users who are located in the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe. This is due to censorship from some internet service providers.
So, when you install the YIFY Movies Kodi addon, it will not be able to find and scrape the YIFY website.
There are two ways that you can fix this issue.
The first is to head into the YIFY Movies addon settings by hovering over the addon title in your video addons, pressing menu, and clicking on settings.
Once you are in the YIFY Movies Kodi settings, click the option to Enable Proxy.
This will allow the addon to access an alternative URL to the website that isn’t blocked in the UK.
If this still doesn’t fix your YIFY Movies empty directories error, then you need to connect to a VPN in order to use this addon.
